How can we remind ourselves to quit? #1 Put a piece of tape or string around your finger. #2 Set an alarm on your phone. #3 Notes. #4 Put it on your (Google) calendar. #5 Have a magnet on your fridge. Put fresh notes up under the magnet weekly (Use a code if needed). In your bedroom write your goal – “Run from triggers.” On your fridge write RFT. #6 Have a quitting notebook that you use often. #7 Have notes/ in your phone. #8 Use a daily planner to remind yourself of all the changes you want to make. #8 Put a rubber band on your wrist to remind you to pray a quitting prayer or to quote a quitting verse every half hour of the day.
Second, these ideas are how to put the Bible verse “Work out your salvation with fear and trembling,” into action.
        Third, consider praying:
“Father, help me to put bad habits to death, and fill me with Your Spirit.”
Proverbs 23:29-30 ESV Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaining? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? Those who tarry long over wine; those who go to try mixed wine.

Read the Word, do the Word, find joy.
