Psalm 34:18 ESV The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
When you are repenting, and when all is lost, at that time Christ will be right there with you.
Remember that time. Remember that if you go to war with sin, Christ will often be right there with you. If you declare war on sin plus start toward purpose, He will always be right there with you.
Psalm 147:3 ESV He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Scripture always heals something. Jesus is the Word. Read scripture, memorize scripture, watch Christian music video’s, and listen to sermons on YouTube, or some where.
Psalm 91:1-16 ESV He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, …
I am praying extra lately, that’s how you dwell in His shelter. Read verses like this one often to understand how you can live if you do what the Bible says.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
God “Always” does “All of these things” if we are going to pass it on. If we are going to help the next guy. Consider constantly praying:
“I will rejoice because of Your Word. Father, show me what You want me to do.”
Then redouble your efforts to quit so that you can move on to the “Joy” phase of life.
1 Peter 5:10 ESV And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
I lost almost everything, now God has restored back everything. Believe this verse, put in the work, and it will someday happen.
Romans 5:3-4 ESV Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
Finally, people don’t know what “To do” to quit. Well… consider working several times per day to add these or other healthy habits. God has something for you “to do.”
