The Bible says (Romans 12:2) we can know the perfect will of God. I write constantly about ways to renew the mind because this verse says that renewing the mind is one step toward knowing God’s will.
Consider praying:
“Father, help me to stop looking/thinking about wrong things. Holy Spirit, I give you permission to start to renew my mind.”
Second, if you are pounding on these scriptures and prayers, “Expect” the Holy Spirit to start to do a transformation in your mind/life.
John 11:40 ESV Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
When we go to war with sin, plus getting scriptures in, we begin to have the right to pray:
“Father, show me a bit of Your glory.”
Third, Romans 12:1 says holy. “Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [b]reasonable service.” Consider praying:
“Father, I believe that if I strive to live a holy life, my life will be way better.”
Fourth, fighting sin, striving for holiness, and striving to know God’s will are tough goals. But when we combine them with striving to live in a bit of God’s glory, it becomes worth it 100 times over.
I beseech[a] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [b]reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
