2 Peter 2:20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.”
This verse is saying that if we keep going back, our life will keep getting worse.
Wisdom is memorizing this verse.
Wisdom is reminding yourself constantly that you don’t want to be worse off.
Wisdom is reading this verse every day.
Second, many quit because they keep reading many articles per day, they keep reading scripture daily, they keep praying quitting prayers.
Third, many say: “I will read a quitting article daily.”
My comment to those only willing to spend a few minutes working on quitting daily is:
“Memorize this verse.”
Fourth, based on this verse, you can’t spend too much time working on quitting. Well… unless you are okay with your life getting worse.
