Today, I started early with quitting prayers. Later I saw temptation rising, and I ramped up quitting prayers. Later, temptation hit, and I ramped up quitting prayers even more.
You may say: “You have quit for years, you are not going back, why fight so hard?
Because, now that I have quit, and started my purpose, I have found joy. I will go to great lengths to make sure I don’t mess that up.
We prepare for temptation with daily Bible study, and with quitting prayers.
Fact, satan will attack and tempt us. If we don’t have the habit of constant quitting prayers, he has a huge advantage.
Second, you will quit if you always,
Pray a quitting prayer “Every time you are tempted.”
Plus, if you always search specific verses when temptation overwhelms you.
To do that search, “Verses __________.” Fill in the blank with your habit.
When you pound these verses into you, they pound the habit out of you.
Third, there are a bunch of habits you need to acquire to quit for good, but if you do these two things you can quit for now. That would be good.
Are you willing to make these two things a habit?
